Settings not persisted after reboot - mcbeijer - 08-16-2019

Hi all,

I recently installed my Joying (SKU JY-UO135P4V) head unit in our 2009 Toyota Aygo using the provided ISO harness cable and the unit works fine when the car is turned on however when the ignition is turned off the unit loses most of the settings (e.g. radio channels, time and keypad tone settings)

I suspect that this is due to the fact that there is no permanent power to the unit. Does anyone have an idea how to solve this issue?

Thanks,

Bram

Do you mean that the head unit setting will be back to default after you turn off the car and turn on?
If yes, please show us your screenshot of your "about device" on your head unit.

Hallo Bram,

in some car's the 12V ACC and 12V from Battery are exchanged in the ISO harness cable. Change the red cable with the yellow cable in the ISO harness cable and look.

Hi Dirk,

this is exactly what I did and it works perfectly now!

Thanks for the solution.
