No, the original headunit (my car is Toyota innova) has no canbus
Btw, fyi
1. Sometimes 4G doesnt work, have to off-on mobile data to work again
2. Exiting from splitscreen sometimes not working, have to close all openned apps to back to normal
Maybe you can fix this in updates

With regard to 2: This can also be "by Android design΅. Some apps stay in splitscreen mode even if you close "the other".
In the center of the screen you have this vertical divider. Tap, hold and drag it to left or right (depending on left or right half still active). This will make the still active application again full-screen.
This is not a Joying bug, but an app/Android short-coming.
You are on the August firmware. There is a newer 17 September firmware on the Joying blog.
Whether it will help solving the 4G issue, I don't know.

You can update with this file:https://drive.google.com/open?id=1akWMxEmd7rjfR7ZBY6p1HcXHBcvlQ4oc
Following are the notes for the update:
1) You need to unzip the updated files on the Windows system. and then copy all the unzipped files (not the folder ) to the USB, which is formatted as FAT32.
and then insert it into the USB port which on the back of the head unit, it will be updated automatically.
2) Please do not unzip the files on the USB.
3) You better use the 32GB or less than 32GB USB.

here the result

I'm curious, I use microSD card from my old camera, still didn't work
is there any way to push new firmware, I am no linux expert, but I had experience using adb to install custom firmware to my cell
@surfer63, slide split screen from center screen works, thanks a lot.

I had 2 accounts due to logon issues some time ago but forgot. I now switched back to hvdwolf.
An SD-card should work! The most common reason for it not to work is the "unsafe remove" from a device.
Really reformat it to fat32. Note that Windows nowadays formats by default to exfat (or NTFS). exfat does not work as it is another windoze closed format (but fortunately MS opened the code some months ago and the first Android 10 releases now come with exfat compiled into it)

I did format the card before using it (its 4gb microSD)
But since the full format was very slow, I cancelled it and do quick format. eject before pull out the card
Will try with full format
btw, I read and already downloaded your 'tools' from xda, will try it after this update things work
