Hello,

1 year ago I buyed on ALIEXPRESS a JOYING 10.1'' 4GB RAM Octa 8 Core Android 8.0

Sorry I dont' know # ref model but herewith menu info :



From the beginning I'm confronted at least once a day from touch screen blocked problem.
Only solution : make reset
It works fine but... it's tiring because frequently and especially necessary to re adjust fader each time...

But since ~2 months other really big big problem appear :
At least 3 times a week my wifi access point (Iphone SE) isn't validated !
It finded, tryied connected but can't... re-tryied but always can't... etc...
After make Reset nothing change : same problem
Only long long wait time with radio off can resolve problem.  
Really problematic...

How solve problems ? If anybody have an idea...
May be new firmware exist for my JOYING RADIO ??

Please try to factory reset the head unit and then update the head unit system with this file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/18-7djp2x4RuTOS0XPJts4cTJq859pqc_/view

Following are the notes for the system update:
1) You need to unzip the updated files on the Windows system. and then copy all the unzipped files (not the folder ) to the USB, which is formatted as FAT32.
and then insert it into the USB port which on the back of the head unit, it will be updated automatically.

2) Please do not unzip the files on the USB.

3) You better use the 32GB or less than 32GB USB.

Really thks for you ADMIN for your answer.

I did factory reset with 3368 code (finded on forum) and install your new firmware.
After re install my apps - now only the ones I really use - everything seems works well.
To see to use in time...

Bad review after 10 days new firmware updated :

Always the big problem Wifi access point never validated (Iphone SE) who can't resolved by reset.
Little less often because 'only' appears 2 times / 10 days.

But the touch screen blocked problem is it really worse !
Now not only appears after power on, but can also happens at any time when I drive !!
And very very often : at least one time / two trips...
New too, I also noticed now sometimes touch screen light up very briefly like a flash.

I'm desperate...
Do you have a solution for me ? Other firmware ?

If no my JOYING must go to trash...
Sad because without these 2 problems would be almost a perfect radio !
However I must buy other radio from another brand because I can't continue drive under these conditions...

For 2nd problem (wifi not validated) I put in my car other camera to can record IPhone + Joying when the problem will appear...

About WIFI access point not validated problem :

Since I buy JOYING radio I always create access point with my IPhone SE (always updated with last IOS firmware -actually 13.2.2-).
During 9 first months use I just have access point not validated problem only 2 times, and I thinked it was just a non important bug.
But since 2-3 months problem happens ~ 3 times / weeks, not cool.
Also now after last JOYING firmware installed, it's better but not solved coz always 4 times / 20 days…

It's strange problem because when WIFI problem happens JOYING see Iphone access point but just can't validate it and connect.
JOYING, try, try, retry… but can't…

And I really try all possibility :
- Turn off/on JOYING wifi button
- Turn off/on Iphone access point
- Reset JOYING
- Turn off/on Iphone
- Erase the memorized Iphone access point on Joying and re-enter wifi password
Nothing works !

Only solution :  Stop the car and AC off wait few hours… And strangely the problem disappear.

Try changing the wifi signal option on iPhone hotspot from 2.4ghz and 5ghz to just 2.4

Thanks for idea but this option seem doesn't exist on Iphone IOS, same too can't change Wifi channel.
Or I don't find it in IPhone settings...
