Download Pending

Trying to download some apps on Google play store on my Android 8.1 headunit.
Apps now just say "download pending" and nothing happens.
The same happens with updates.
I've tried quitting the Play Store, clearing the cache, restarting the head unit, updating the firmware, checking playstore is current.
Any other ideas?

Mine was doing that also, but i went into the play store settings or general settings (don't remember which) and unchecked the box that said download over WI-FI Only and now it works.
