It seems the power output on the USB ports is quite low.  My Samsung galaxy S8 says charging(2+ hours till fully charged).  However, it sometimes barely maintains current battery percentage and usually slowly discharges over time.  Is there a way to boost the power output from the USB ports?

Same problem here on JY-UOS03N4GS. Doesn't charge the phone. Any fix?

Same problem here on JY-UOS03N4GS.  Doesn't charge the phone.  Any fix?

We do not suggest that you charge the phone from the head unit. the head unit will be easier to be damaged.
