Radio does not work when ZLink is active

When I activate ZLink to use Android Car Play, the radio is muted. I have seen some information online that appears to indicate that this is the intended function. Is that true, or is there a way to allow the radio to play when Car Play is active to run things like Google Maps.

You can directly use the maps on your carplay.
