As your problems, please see below expansion:
1)We have not tested your map app before. because not all the android app can be compatible with our head unit perfectly.
2)You can try to set the proper time and date. and please also put the GPS receiver on the front of the car windshield.
If still not workable, maybe your map app not compatible with our head unit. you can try to use the offline map data.
