Second USB cable not working properly
#1
Hi,

I'm quite happy with my Joying HU, but there's an issue that has been going on for a while and I don't know how to fix.

The HU comes with 2 USB cables for connecting different devices and while one (connected to a USB DAB+) works perfectly, the second cable doesn't.

The 2nd USB cable does charge devices such phones, start others like dashboard cameras, pendrives, etc. but you cannot connect to them! The issue is that doesn't matter which device I attach, it's not recognized. I've tried DAB+ USB, phones (iPhone and Samsung), USB pendrives (All in FAT32 with sizes from 8GB to 32GB), dashboard cameras, etc. and none is recognized. The most important for me it's to be able to use this USB cable with iPhone and ZLink.

I believe this behavior started after updating to the latest firmware, as I was able to even use an USB hub before, but I'm not 100% sure.

Please, could you provide support for this matter? Thanks in advance.

I have a similar issue. One of the USB cables works fine with my iphone, the other doesn't. I connected the DAB+ module purchased from Joying to the second USB cable and it works some of the time. The antenna has a blue power on light, but the head unit won't connect to the USB.

Ive noticed this as well. the reason why you are having issues is due to the ZLINK, you cannot have the zlink APP running in the backround. please close all running applications and try both usb's again. ZLINK has priority over the USB's . view my video for a better explination. i have it in there.; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFkjYUiMUOQ
